The gift card exchange at Plastic Jungle is not something I've tried but it looks interesting. I'm not a big gift card fan myself because I always worry the recipient won't use all the $$ on the card but I know many others love them.
You can also find great deals on gift cards and discount cards at Ebay. I have purchased several 10% or 20% off cards for either Lowe's or Home Depot through Ebay.
